At 1654 hours, El Cerrito Police units were dispatched to reports of shooting in this area. Multiple residents called police to report that they heard the sounds of gunfire.
El Cerrito officers arrived and found one uninjured person who reported that unknown men shot at him, from a vehicle. The man described the vehicle as a dark gray Toyota Camry sedan with tinted windows and a spoiler.
Witness accounts of the suspects varied. Police are looking for 3 to 4 male suspects.
