Detectives Investigating Suspicious Death as a Homicide
On 03-16-15 at 2:27 PM deputies were dispatched to the 4300 Block of Blaker Road just out side of Ceres, CA for a deceased person that had been found in an orchard. The victim has been identified as 25 year old Lauren Grace London of Modesto and detectives are now investigating her death as a homicide. London's body was found burned in the orchard by a witness who called 911. Detectives are trying to determine if the orchard where London was found is the crime scene or if she died elsewhere and transported to the orchard.
There is no suspect information at this time and detectives are asking anyone with information to call Detective Frank Soria at 209-525-7080.

On 03-16-15 at 2:27 PM deputies were dispatched to the 4300 Block of Blaker Road just out side of Ceres, CA for a deceased person that had been found in an orchard. The body had been found by a person walking though the orchard and they called 911. At this point in the investigation it is not known if the location where the body was found is the crime scene. Because of the rural area where the body was found detectives had to use the Sheriff's Office helicopter for aerial photographs and a K9 for an article search. Detectives are not releasing any further details at this point on the victim.
