HMPD arrests man for Obtaining Property by False Pretense
On the afternoon of January 21, 2015, Hope Mills Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a subject attempting to return property with false receipts. Upon arrival, Officers determined that the suspect, who was gone on their arrival, was Michael Pervis Bradham, 36, of the 5900 block of Spinner Road in Hope Mills. Officers also determined that Mr. Bradham was currently out on bond for the charge of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon at the time of this offense. Officers completed a report on the incident and forwarded the case to the Hope Mills Police Detective Division who, subsequently obtained warrants on Mr. Bradham for Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
On February 28, 2015, at approximately 4:00am, a Hope Mills Police Officer saw Mr. Bradham at the Kangaroo convenience store located at 674 Chickenfoot Road, and took him into custody for the warrants connected to the Walmart incident. Mr. Bradham was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he received a $5000.00 bond for the following charges:

1 Count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
