This past week in Zone 8, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 26600 block of Sand Canyon Road. One suspect was arrested for hitting the victim during a family dispute. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred near the 25200 Via Princessa. Person(s) unknown stole the victims third row seat from her vehicle while it was parked getting a car wash during a charity event. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred near the 15600 block of Nahin Lane. Person(s) unknown stole numerous power tools and hand tools from the victims unlocked vehicle. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft auto occurred near the 29400 block of Abelia Road. One suspect was arrested for taking the victims vehicle without permission along with driving under the influence of alcohol. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 26400 block of Oakdale Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown entered the victims locked vehicle and stole items from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred near the 15000 block of Daffodil Lane. Person(s) unknown entered the victims unlocked vehicle and stole items from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
