Chula Vista Police Seeking Public's Help in Identifying Theft/Fraud Suspects

The Chula Vista Police Department's Property Crimes Unit is seeking the public's help in identifying two identity theft/fraud suspects. One victim of the theft was a Chula Vista resident whose house was burglarized and their checkbook stolen. The suspects in the attached photos were seen in a Lemon Grove bank transferring money into the Chula Vista victim's bank account from a separate victim's account. They then immediately withdrew the money. The female suspect wearing the glasses posed as the account holder from which they transferred money. Some of the property from the residential burglary was later recovered by CHP in a stolen vehicle and may be linked to local criminal gangs.

If you think you recognize the suspects in the photographs please contact The Chula Vista Police Department's PCU Detective Glenn Gossett at (619) 409-3875

You may also call CVPD's non-emergency number, (619) 691-5151, or (619) 422-TIPS to remain anonymous, or visit the Help Us Solve a Crime website: http://www.chulavistaca.gov/departments/police-department
