Green Bay Police Officers responded to a welfare check on a suicidal male on Green Bay's West side. One of the responding officers was stabbed by a male subject and Officers shot the subject. The officer's injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The subject is deceased. The investigation into this incident is just beginning and is expected to take some time. We do not believe there is any ongoing danger to the public at this time. This investigation will be handled by the State Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
