The Daly City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who brutally assaulted a 60-year old cab driver. Late in the evening on Valentine’s Day, the cab driver picked up the suspect at Sutter and Grant Streets in San Francisco. He was driven to the area of Geneva Avenue and Pueblo Street in Daly City where he got out of the cab refusing to pay. When he was confronted by the cab driver, the suspect punched and kicked the driver multiple times, and then fled.
Several uninvolved subjects are seen walking and driving by while the taxi cab driver was being attacked.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, between 5’7” and 5’9” with a medium build, dark brown hair and spoke with a Hispanic accent. He was wearing a long light colored dress shirt and a red tie.
