A Starbucks gift card had been stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle parked on the 27500 block of Trail Ridge Road of Canyon Country during the late night hours on Thursday, January 15, 2015. The victim had registered the gift card online with Starbucks, and received a text from Starbucks showing the gift card had been used locally. Detectives on the case discovered the gift card was used at the Starbucks located at 24802 Orchard Village Road in Santa Clarita the next day. Detectives obtained three surveillance photos of a male using the stolen gift card to make a purchase and are now asking the public’s assistance in identifying this male.
