At approximately 12:20 p.m. LASD HazMat Detail, in collaboration with Federal Bureau of Investigations, concluded their investigation at Stanley Mosk Superior Courthouse.

HazMat Detail detectives collected evidence, powdery substance, from one of the envelopes. The exact name of the substance is unknown at this time and will be determined by Los Angeles County Department of Public Health personnel.

The circumstances behind the receipt of the envelope are still under investigation.   

The building was deemed safe by HazMat Detail.

**HazMat Rollout** # LASD HazMat Detail Responds to Suspicious Letters Incident.  

On February 19^th, 2015 at approximately 9:28 a.m. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Hazardous Material Detail responded to Stanley Mosk Superior Court, 100 block of South Hill Street, Los Angeles, regarding suspicious letters mailed to court personnel.

Hazardous Material Detail is currently investigating the incident.
