2nd Update- *Murder-Suicide* Investigation, 24900 Blk Pico Canyon Rd, Stevenson Ranch, #LASD Homicide Bureau/ Santa Clarita Stn

NARRATIVE:

Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are confirming that the victims, located in the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road, Stevenson Ranch, were married and died in an apparent murder-suicide. 

Evidence at the location indicates the couple exited the ‘Fed-Ex’ store together. The husband shot his wife and then himself. The weapon was recovered at the scene.

The circumstances preceding the incident are still under investigation.

**UPDATE**Death Investigation, 24900 Block of Pico Canyon Rd, Stevenson Ranch, #LASD Homicide Bureau/ Santa Clarita Station

NARRATIVE:

Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of a man and a woman in the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road, Stevenson Ranch.

Detectives have learned that deputies from Santa Clarita station responded to the location regarding a call of gunshots heard in the area.  When they arrived, they located and man and a woman with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm was also recovered.

Detectives have not surmised the events that led up to victims’ death. The investigation is still on-going.
