Alert: Blizzard Warning is in effect for the Borough of Kenilworth from 1 P.M. Monday through 7 A.M. Wednesday.

Heavy snow with Blizzard conditions is expected with 18 - 36 inches of snow accumulation is expected based on current weather forecast. Wind speeds will be increasing to 25 - 40 MPH with gusts up to 50 - 60 MPH. The heaviest wind is expected between midnight and 1 P.M. Tuesday. Snow fall rates during this time period could 2 - 4 inches per hour and snow drifts may exceed 3 feet. The Governor has declared a state of emergency and all non-essential vehicles must remain off of roadways!

Instructions:

Residents are asked to remove ALL VEHICLES from all Borough roadways to assist the DPW in keeping the roads clear and to ensure the safe passage of emergency vehicles. Please use your driveway, a family member's, or a neighbor's driveway if possible.

Residents should also ensure that they do not shovel or snow blow their snow back into the roadway after it has been plowed as this creates a hazardous condition!
