Felon arrested for carrying a concealed weapon 
On Saturday January 24, 2015 at approximately 12:56 am WCSO deputies were dispatched to a large disturbance in the area of Ecorse and Harris in Ypsilanti Township. Additionally a male subject, wearing specific clothing, was seen with a handgun at the location.
Deputies arrived and saw a male subject matching the description and made contact with him. The subject, a 30 year old Ypsilanti Township resident, was highly intoxicated and became uncooperative with the deputies. The deputies gained control of the subject and found a loaded handgun on his person. The subject, who is on Parole, was arrested and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail where he was lodged on numerous criminal charges and a Parole Detainer.
On Saturday January 24, 2015 at 10:00 am the Washtenaw County Prosecutors Office authorized the below listed criminal charges on the subject:
1. Weapons-Carrying Concealed
2. Weapons-Firearms-Possession By Felon
3. Weapons-Ammunition-Possession By Felon
4. Police Officer-Assaulting/resisting/Obstructing
5. Weapons-Felony Firearm
*These charges carry a maximum 19 years in Prison.
