NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are en route to the 20600 block of Newhall Avenue, Newhall, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a female infant. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no additional information available at this time.

A grid search is being conducted in the area of Newhall. The baby is a female white, three weeks old wearing a Sesame Street diaper and a blue and pink beanie. 

The investigation is still ongoing.
