CPD Identifies Attempted Murder Suspect

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that an attempted murder suspect has been named in connection with this week’s Colony Apartments shooting investigation.

CPD Investigators have two outstanding arrest warrants for Jacobee Treamin Caldwell (DOB: 11-22-1988).

Once captured, Caldwell is expected to be charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.

Caldwell allegedly shot a male friend in the back after the two argued at the Colony Apartments on Bailey Street on January 21, 2015. Caldwell should be considered armed and dangerous.
