Muskegon Police will begin issuing tickets to vehicles in violation of the Winter Parking Ban tonight, January 15, 2015.

The Muskegon Winter Parking Ban is in effect from December 15 - through the last day of February (no person shall park a vehicle on any street between the hours of 2:00am - 6:00am).

Initially, red warning "courtesy" tags were issued to remind vehicle owners and tonight officers will begin issuing citations to violators.

While the winter parking ban is in effect, vehicles can be parked on the terrace (i.e., the area between street and sidewalk).

Please share with your friends and neighbors so that the streets can be properly plowed for all vehicles to drive on.
