Sheriff's Detective Identifies Suspect in 2014 Robbery in Riverbank
On 11-27-14 at 11:32 PM Riverbank Police Services deputies were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station located at 3103 Atchison Street in Riverbank, CA for a robbery at the business.
A Black male in his 20's wearing a black coat, blue pants and blue beanie walked into the business. He grabbed some merchandise in the business and then approached the counter as if he were going to pay. While the employee was ringing up the merchandise the Black male pulled out a handgun and demanded all the money in the register. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the business.
On 01/12/15 Detective Eric Torres received information that Stockton Police Department had arrested 26 year old Enrique Aaron Reyes of Union City, CA for assault with a deadly weapon. While investigators from Stockton PD interviewed Reyes he provided information he was involved in a robbery in the City of Riverbank. Detective Torres interviewed Reyes regarding the robbery at the Shell Gas Station and he admitted that he robbed store with a gun. Enrique Aaron Reyes is currently in San Joaquin County Jail and will be arrested for the robbery in Riverbank once he is released from custody in San Joaquin County.
