The Madison County Commissioners in coordination with the Sheriff, Highway Department, and Emergency Management Agency have changed the travel status to ADVISORY.  Advisory is the lowest travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation and individuals should use caution or avoid those area.  Roads throughout Madison County are snow covered slick and hazardous.   Motorists should use caution and allow extra commute time on the roads due to this winter storm event.

Currently Madison County is under a Winter Storm Warning and we are projected to receive 4"-6" over night.  On Tuesday morning, motorists should use caution and allow additional time for the commute.
