Petty Theft
Location: 3500 Block of El Camino Real
An officer responded to the 3500 block of El Camino Real on the report of a burglary from an automobile. The driver’s side rear window had been shattered and the victim’s property was missing. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 2100 Block of The Alameda
An officer was conducting a probation search of a motel room on the 2100 block of The Alameda (Case Number #14-13760). While conducting a safety sweep and probation search, a female subject was hiding under a large comforter in the rear bedroom. A Records check revealed she had a no bail arrest warrant issued by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. She was arrested and subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Location: 2400 Block of Augustine Drive
An unknown suspect(s) entered a business on the 2400 block of Augustine Drive and stole four laptops. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Wednesday, December 17, 2014
Attempted Murder
Location: 2100 Block of Monroe Street
Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Monroe Street on the report of a stabbing. The male victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Detectives responded to the crime scene and conducted an investigation. The suspect was later identified and taken into custody without further incident.

Residential Burglary
Location: 1300 Block of Halford Avenue
An adult female victim came home with her daughter and saw an unknown adult male subject walking down their stair case. He was holding some of their possessions and had a brown paper bag in the other hand. The victim grabbed at her belongings and chased the suspect out of the house. The suspect dropped the belongings onto the sideway while fleeing the scene. The subject remains at large.

Grand Theft
Location: 3900 Block of Rivermark Plaza
Three males entered the T-Mobile store on the 3900 block of Rivermark Plaza and stole multiple items, valued at approximately $2,000. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.

NOTE: The Traffic Unit conducted a pedestrian safety enforcement operation on Stevens Creek at N. Henry Avenue to crackdown on drivers and pedestrians who violate basic traffic laws. 40 citations were issued. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 900 Block of Monroe Street
An officer responded to the 900 block of Monroe Street on a report of a suspicious man in a black hoodie, holding a backpack and looking into a business window. The officer contacted the subject and conducted a Records check which revealed he had seven no bail warrants out of San Jose State University Police for petty theft, trespassing and other university violations. The subject was placed under arrest without incident and was transported to the County jail.

Theft and Warrant Arrest
Location: 3000 Block of Stevens Creek Boulevard
An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard regarding a suspect that stole over $500 in merchandise from Macy’s. A Records check showed the suspect had two outstanding warrants. As a result, he was arrested and transported to the County jail.
