The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Detective Bureau conducted an early morning search warrant today in the Topanga County area. Information pertaining to the warrant was gathered during a prior related criminal investigation, and the team immediately acted on this information. LASD’s Special Enforcement Bureau and Arson/Explosives units assisted with the search, as well as ATF.
The search resulted in the seizure of several illegal assault rifles weapons and miscellaneous weapons parts. The suspect in question was arrested on felony weapons charges.
