SANTA ANA, CA (December 9, 2014) - Crews have repaired the portion of the road that was damaged and have located, exposed and assessed the broken water pipe section. Water service is estimated to be restored by 5pm.
Road repairs to the westbound lane are anticipated to be complete by 9pm with lanes opening to traffic shortly thereafter as it becomes safe to do so.
Traffic Impacts: At this time all eastbound lanes on Sunflower Ave. have been reopened to traffic. All westbound lanes from Susan St. to Harbor Blvd. remain closed and are anticipated to remain closed until after 9pm when all repairs are complete.
