Wintry mixed precipitation will begin later this afternoon (12/08/14) and continue through Wednesday morning (12/10/14)
Total precipitation amounts of 2-4 inches over a long duration (heaviest rain expected Tuesday morning thru the late evening hours) Strong winds Tuesday morning into the late evening. Heavy rain with urban and small stream flooding is possible.
Monday evening into Tuesday morning – A wintry mix up to 1 inch and a potential of 1/10th of light ice glaze.
Tuesday night into early Wednesday: Wintry precipitation mix with potential for 1-2 inches of snow.
Winds expected 25-35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph. Cold and windy overnight with highs in the 30's lows in 20's with wind chills in the low teens.
Heavy rain and high tides Tuesday morning into early afternoon could exacerbate flooding problems in coastal areas.
