The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Bergen County until Thursday morning (November 27, 2014)
Current predictions call for a wintry mix of rain and snow transitioning to all snow by 1:00 pm. The higher elevations of the county will see the changeover earlier.
Temperatures today will be in the mid 30's with the wind chill values between 20-30 degrees.
Winds will be from the north in the 11-16 mph range.
Road conditions may be hazardous for the holiday commute.
Total snowfall accumulations are expected to be in the 3-6 inch range. The northern and western portions of the county will see the higher amounts. This system is expected to end early Thursday morning.
Thursday is predicted to see a slight chance of snow /rain showers in the early afternoon and be mostly cloudy.
