The Suffolk County Police Department Marine Bureau will be offering the NYS Safe Boating Course to members of the public.

Dates:  (you must attend both sessions).

All classes are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Mon 12/08/14 and Wed 12/10/14          

Mon 1/12/15 and Wed 1/14/15               

Mon 2/02/15 and Wed 2/04/15              

Mon 3/02/15 and Wed 3/04/15              

Tues 3/24/15 and Thurs 3/26/15            

Tues 4/14/15 and Thurs 4/16/15             

To enroll, please call the Marine Bureau desk at (631) 854-8382 and provide updated contact information in case of course schedule adjustments.

Our previous classes filled up quickly, so if interested, reserve your spot as soon as possible.

Location: Suffolk County Police Academy, Brentwood campus, Room 209

Minimum age 10 years (under 16, a parent is strongly encouraged to attend)

All materials will be provided by NYS.

Under 18 – no charge

Over 18 – no charge for course, but a $10 fee must be paid to NYS for your permanent card
