On November 20, 2014, at approximately 9:30 pm, Burlington Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the area of North Prospect Street. The incident was reported when the homeowner returned. Investigation revealed that the suspect or suspects had taken various items of collectible sports memorabilia, among them an autographed team baseball with the signatures of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and other notable baseball players. A full listing of the items taken is still being gathered by the homeowner. Anyone with information leading to an arrest or recovery of property may receive a cash reward.
