Suspects have been targeting individuals of Asian Indian descent wearing gold jewelry.

The suspects are described as black or Hispanic males in their early 20’s. They will either grab the jewelry and run away or brandish a handgun and demand the jewelry and wallet from the victim. Robberies have occurred day and evening hours.

Safety Tips:

* Keep your jewelry less visible
* Walk in well-lit areas
* Be aware of suspicious persons and vehicles in your
surroundings

If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help. Don’t risk personal injury by fighting back. Call 9-1-1 as soon as possible to report a crime and describe the suspect(s).
