The Gloucester Township Police Department participated in National Night Out on August 5th, 2014. National Night Out helps strengthen community support and our police partnership with you and your neighbors. Residents and communities that participate in National Night Out send a message that they are organized and not willing to stand for criminal activity occurring in their neighborhood.

Our residents truly understand the meaning behind National Night Out. As we traveled down the road to all of our planned locations, we passed many people who were sitting on their front porches with their porch lights lit showing all of the other officers who dedicated so much time to this project that people are willing to stand up against crime and show the community that we are “lighting the night and putting the lights out on crime”.
