Winter Driving Precautions 
The Muskegon Police Department would like to remind everyone to be mindful of safe driving with winter weather being upon us.
Make sure to allow extra time to get to your destination. Drive slower in winter weather and leave plenty of space between your vehicle and the vehicles in front of you to allow you enough reaction time should you or anyone around you lose full control of their vehicle.
Also keep an eye out for pedestrians. Visibility can be reduced in winter. Drive at a speed that allows you to be able to safely react should anything cross your path.
