Full Notification

On Sunday, November 16, 2014 at approximately 7:10 pm the Tobacco Outlet store located at 6621 University Avenue in the City of Middleton was robbed by two subjects. The clerk had noticed the two outside the store for about five minutes prior to their entering the store. 

One subject stayed by the door while the other confronted the clerk at the counter, announced the robbery and lifted his jacket to reveal a weapon in his waistband, possibly a knife.  That subject then went behind the counter and took the till from the cash register.  He told the clerk to lie on the floor. 

Both subjects then left the area on foot, walking around the end of the building where they were observed leaving the area by a delivery driver for a nearby business.  

An undetermined amount of cash was taken.  There were no injuries to the lone clerk and the subjects were not located by responding officers. 

The subject who stayed by the door is described as a white male, mid 20’s, about 5’07”, wearing a tan or beige coat, a brown hooded sweatshirt, black stocking cap, brown pants and white shoes with dark laces. 

The subject who confronted the clerk is described as a white male, mid 20’s, about 5’07”, slender build, brown hair with several days beard growth, blue scarf across his lower face, baseball cap with a dark colored “B” on it, gray hooded Carhart jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, black shoes with white sole trim and light colored work gloves. 

Surveillance video/pictures will be made available when it is processed.
