West Point Robbery Investigation
At approximately 2050 hours, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Smitty Lane in West Point for a robbery. A 24 year old male victim was confronted by three unknown male suspects at his residence. The suspects forcible bounded the victim with duct tape and brandished a revolver type hand gun. Another subject brandished a pocket knife while the remaining suspect entered the victim’s residence and ransacked the home. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of marijuana and fled from the household. The suspects were described as three black male adults. One suspect had dreadlock style hair and one subject was lighter skin than the others. The victim was unable to provide any further description of the suspects. This case is still an active investigation.
