NARRATIVE:
On Saturday November 1, 2014 at approximately 1:43 am, police received an EMS call for service in front of a Crosby Avenue residence. When Officers arrived on location they located an 19 year old male, Thomas Rodriguez, who had fallen and lacerated his head. An investigation revealed that prior to his injuries, he had been consuming alcoholic beverages at a residence located on Crosby Avenue.

Further investigation revealed that a party was in progress where alcohol was being consumed by persons under the age of 21. Officers determined that at least 13 partygoers under the age of 21 had been drinking while at the residence. Upon further investigation it was determined that the tenants of the residence were identified as Kristina Vangeli, Nicole Markowitz and Marial Pierce. All three females were subsequently taken into custody and brought to the Township of Ocean Police Headquarters for further processing. Officers observed several beer kegs, numerous partially full and empty beer cups and cans throughout the home.

Vangeli, Markowitz and Pierce were criminally charged with providing a place for underage people to consume alcohol. Additionally, Ms. Pierce and Markowitz were issued township ordinance violations for consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age to do so on private property. All three were released on summons pending a court hearing.

Police also issued township ordinance violations to 11 partygoers for consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age on private property.
