On October 28, 2014 @7:30 pm, Samost JFCS and the Bank of America Arts, Books, and Culture Festival of Katz JCC will welcome Tanya Brown, sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, to speak on domestic abuse, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Tanya, author of "Peace Amid the Chaos: My Escape from Depression and Suicide," will discuss the effects and warning signs of domestic abuse. Her story will empower others and serve as an inspiration of hope for those who may be struggling with similar life issues.
