Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Location: 2800 Block of Augustine
Officers were dispatched to an assault, resulting in serious bodily injury of a male victim, on the 2800 block of Augustine. The victim was assaulted by several unknown males before being transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled, leaving behind their vehicle and cell phones which were collected as evidence. This information was forwarded to the Detective’s Bureau for further investigation.

Theft
Location: 2700 Block of Homestead Road
A loss prevention specialist detained a male subject for leaving a store on the 2700 block of Homestead Road with $315.72 in merchandise without paying for the items. A Records check revealed the subject had prior theft convictions with jail time served. The subject was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: Monroe Street at Nobili Avenue
An officer was dispatched to the area of Monroe Street at Nobili Avenue, on the report of a person shooting a gun from a vehicle. Multiple officers arrived in the area and located several blank shell casings. The area was canvassed; however officers were unable to find any additional witnesses or victims of any crime.

Grand Theft
Location: 200 Block of Saratoga Avenue
An unknown suspect(s) entered the gated area of a City of Santa Clara water pumping facility and stole an unknown amount of copper off a large spool. The damage to the spool resulted in the spool being unusable. The spool of copper is worth $30,000. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Warrant Arrest
Location: El Camino Real at Flora Vista Avenue
An officer was dispatched to El Camino Real at Flora Vista Avenue on the report of a female in the store who was causing a disturbance and throwing merchandise at employees. A Records check revealed the subject had three outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested without further incident and transported to the County jail.

Drunk in Public
Location: 2700 Block of Homestead Road
Officers were dispatched to Safeway on the 2700 block of Homestead Road on the report of a male adult who locked himself inside the restroom with a case of beer. Officers located the subject outside of the store, intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested and booked into County jail.

Robbery
Location: 4300 Block of Watson Circle
An officer was dispatched to a strong-arm robbery on the 4300 block of Watson Circle. The victim was walking on the sidewalk when a male subject, driving a silver Toyota Corolla, got out of the car and snatched a gold pendant from the victim's neck. The suspect drove away and the victim was not injured.

Warrant Arrest / Drugs
Location: 2300 Block of Sutter Avenue
Detectives performed a probation search on the 2300 block of Sutter Avenue. There were four subjects at the home. Male subject #1 was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Female subject #2 was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Female subject #3 was arrested for outstanding grand theft and credit card fraud warrants, as well as possession of methamphetamine, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Female subject #4 was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. All four subjects were transported to the County jail.

Burglary
Location; 3000 Block of Stevens Creek Boulevard
Two adult females entered Macy's on the 3000 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard and placed approximately $1,500 worth of clothing items in a bag they brought into the store. The suspects exited the store without paying for the items. When the loss prevention officers attempted to contact the suspects, they both ran. Suspect #1 was caught and the bag of merchandise was recovered. She was arrested and transported to the County jail. The second suspect was not identified.
