Gloucester Township Police Media Release: Couple On Target Store Shoplifting Spree Are Identified Through The Use Of GTPD's Social Media on 10-15-2014
The Gloucester Township Police Department had been investigating two separate shoplifting incidents that occurred at the Target Store on Berlin Cross Keys Rd on October 8th and 10th, 2014. The male and female shoplifting team had successfully stolen several hundred dollars worth of video games, all the while doing so with a small child in tow. The couple is also suspected in similar shoplifting incidents at other area Target Stores in nearby jurisdictions.
Information gained from Evesham Township Police Detectives and through GTPD's social media sites led Gloucester Township Officers to the 400 block of Jeffereson Court in Glendora. They took 32 year old David Haenn, Jr. and 31 year old Danyelle Arce into custody after positively identifying them as the shoplifting duo. Danyelle Arce's two children were taken into protective custody by the NJ Department of Child Protection and Permanency for evaluation and were later released into the custody of their biological father.
David Haenn Jr was charged with the following : Possession of C.D.S., 2nd Degree Endangering the Welfare of a child (2 Counts), Shoplifting (2 Counts), Resisting Arrest, Possession of Hypodermic Syringe.
Danyelle Arce was charged with 2nd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Shoplifting.
Both subjects were processed and released pending a court hearing.
