LAPD Pacific Area Community Police Station continues to receive numerous reports of stolen vehicles and thefts from vehicles in the Palms neighborhood. We are asking for the public's assistance and partnership to stop this crime trend.

Here is what you can do to prevent vehicle crime in your area:

• LOCK & SECURE YOUR CAR!!
• Don't leave property inside your vehicle, coins and even a gym bag can encourage a thief to break in
• Use an audible alarm
• Use a wheel locking device
