Assault
Location: 4900 Block of Marie P DeBartolo Way
Officers working at Levi’s® Stadium were notified by a stadium employee of a fight inside a men’s restroom located on the 300-level on the north side of the stadium. Minutes after being told of the fight, officers were able to locate the two suspects. They were arrested for felony assault and booked into the County jail.

The two victims of the fight were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. One victim was treated and released and the other victim is listed in serious condition.

Robbery
Location: 1300 Block of Hope Drive
A female fell victim to a strong arm robbery when a male suspect walked up to her and ripped away her gold necklace. The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The victim and her 6 year old child with whom she was walking were unhurt.

Theft
Location: 1400 Block of Bowe Avenue
A victim contacted the Police Department to file a theft report. The victim stated a product had been delivered by FedEx. As the victim was walking out the front of his residence to get the package a male suspect stole the property from the porch and drove away. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Residential Burglary
Location: 2700 Block of Forbes Avenue
An unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked side garage door. The suspect ransacked the bedrooms and took items of value. The suspect is unknown and still outstanding.

NOTE: The Nuisance Suppression Unit, Motorcycle Unit and Bicycle Unit combined efforts today for National Walk and Bike to School Day. The event was a success and the message of safety was passed on both to bicyclists and motorists.

Warrant Arrest
Location: Lafayette Street near Martin Avenue
An officer made a traffic enforcement stop near Lafayette Street near Martin Avenue for having no front license plate. The officer contacted both parties in the vehicle. The male driver was driving with a suspected driver’s license. A Records check revealed the female passenger has a warrant for her arrest. She was arrested and transported to the County jail.

NOTE: The Motorcycle Unit conducted a pedestrian crosswalk operation at Lafayette Street and Franklin Street, yielding 24 citations. This operation was paid for by an Office of Traffic Safety Grant.

Felony Arrest
Location: 1500 Block of Washington Street
Detectives were conducting a nuisance abatement operation when they consensually encountered four individuals on the 1500 block of Washington Street. All four individuals displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Suspect #1 was found to have numerous outstanding felony warrants for her arrest. Male suspect #2 was in the possession of heroin, methamphetamine and prescription pills for sale and possessed drug paraphernalia. Suspect #3 had multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest and was on active probation. Male suspect #4 was under the influence of a controlled substance. All four subjects were transported to the County jail.

NOTE: The transformer at the Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park failed at approximately 2037 hours. Approximately 3,000 customers lost power for several hours. SCPD assisted with traffic control at Tasman Drive and Centennial Boulevard. The power was restored to most of the area at 2327 hours. The stadium was not affected for the two Friday Night Lights, high school football games.

Providing Alcohol to Minors
Location: California’s Great America Theme Park
Officers working the Halloween Haunt at California’s Great America were dispatched on the report of an intoxicated male leaving the park who fell, was experiencing chest pains and was being tended to by paramedics.

The subject had escorted five children (two, age 12; one, age 13; one, age 15; one, age 17) to the theme park. Upon further investigation, the 15 year old was located asleep in the car and the 17 year old was passed out at the car from alcohol intoxication. Officers made contact with the children’s parents for pick-up.

The male subject was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol and providing alcohol to minors. Time: 2345
