LOCATION: Palm Avenue/ Cypress Street, City of Highland
SUSPECT: Jimmy Lucas, 25, Highland
SUMMARY:
On Monday, October 13, 2014, at 5:45PM, deputies from the Highland Station spotted a stolen vehicle near Palm Avenue and Cypress Street, in the City of Highland. As deputies attempted a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle, the driver, Jimmy Lucas, ran from the vehicle. After a brief foot pursuit, Lucas was captured in the backyard of a residence near 10th Street/ Cole Avenue. Lucas was arrested for grand theft auto and booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
