FOUR ARRESTED IN MOSCOW MILLS STRONG ARM DRUG ROBBERY

On October 7, 2014, investigators with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a strong-armed robbery in Moscow Mills.  Detectives learned a 16-year old male juvenile, from St Charles, masterminded a “dope rip” and conspired with both 17-year old, Jerry Wayne French and 19-year old, Trent Xavier Nunn, both of Troy, to deprive the victim of $300.

A “dope rip” is the act of stealing money or drugs during a narcotics transaction.

The trio planned to forcibly steal $300.00 in cash from a Moscow Mills man during the night hours of October 7, 2014.

Unknowingly, the victim made arrangements with the male juvenile to purchase $300 in marijuana from French and Nunn in a residential basement along the 200 block of Market Street, in Moscow Mills.  The male juvenile made arrangements to transport the victim to the location of the “drug rip.”  When the victim arrived, both French and Nunn were armed with loaded handguns, pointed them at the victim, threatened him, and stole his $300 in cash.

According to investigators, Nunn’s girlfriend, 19-year old Stefanie Erin Maraczi, also co-conspired and was present during the time of the robbery.  In addition, 17-year old, Dylan Schalk, of St Charles, drove the victim to the robbery and back home.

Moscow Mills Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office with this investigation.

The male juvenile who masterminded the drug rip is currently in the custody of juvenile authorities.  Nunn, Maraczi and Schalk are all charged with Felony Robbery in the First Degree and Felony Armed Criminal Action and is currently housed at the Lincoln County Jail under a $75,000 cash only bond.  Jerry French is charged with Felony Robbery in the First Degree and Felony Armed Criminal Action and is currently housed at the Lincoln County Jail under a $100,000 cash only bond.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
