PIG GOES MISSING; LOCAL MAN STABBED 23 TIMES

The victim and his roommates believed their neighbors disliked the fact they were raising a pig and stole it about two-weeks ago from their residence in Winfield.  The victim and his roommates later believed 22-year old, Joshua Alan Finke, has something to do with the disappearance of the pig and confronted him at a residence along Eagles Landing Drive.

The confrontation quickly turned into a verbal and then physical domestic assault where Finke stabbed the male victim one time to the back of the head and 22 times in the back.  Hospital officials believed the instrument was a screwdriver; however, it was not recovered at the crime scene.

The whereabouts of the pig is still unknown.  The victim was treated and released from the hospital this morning.

Finke is currently charged with Felony First Degree Assault and is housed at the Lincoln County Jail under a $100,000 cash only bond.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
