COMMUNITY ALERT

Three residential burglaries have occurred in your area since 09-25-14: one on Galy, one on Chatham, and one on Jacaranda.

POSSIBLE SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
MALE WHITE, 40’S, DIRTY BLONDE HAIR, STOCKY, SILVER PICK-UP OR BLACK BMW

CRIME:
SUSPECT(S) ENTERED RESIDENCE ON GALY THROUGH AN UNLOCKED SIDE DOOR.

UNKNOWN HOW SUSPECT(S) ENTERED RESIDENCE ON CHATHAM. ALARM ACTIVATED.

SUSPECT(S) ENTERED RESIDENCE ON JACARANDA BY REMOVING WINDOW LEVERS AND SCREEN. HOMEOWNER INTERRUPTED BURGLARY.

BURGLARIES OCCURRED DURING THE WEEKDAYS AND OVER THE WEEKEND IN THE LATE MORNING/EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM).

Recommendation by the Tustin Police Department: It is important to lock your doors, sliders, and windows, particularly your garage doors. This includes the door between your garage and home to help prevent further entry into your home. Auxiliary locks can be purchased from hardware stores to add more security to your sliders and windows. If you have an alarm, please remember to turn it on before leaving your home.
