Apple Valley - Sheriff's Homicide Detail is investigating a Homicide that occurred in Apple Valley

LOCATION: 16200 block of Muni Road, in Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM: Adult male - name pending notification of next of kin
SUMMARY:
On Monday, September 29, 2014, at 9:40 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department responded to the report of shots heard, near the 16200 block of Muni Road in Apple Valley. Upon arrival, deputies and fire personnel located the victim inside a vehicle. He had suffered from an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detail responded to the location and are conducting the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
