INCIDENT: ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
SUSPECT(S): Michael Dorrough, DOB 11/11/1971, of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On September 27, 2014 at approximately 9:22 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a 911 call in the 11200 block of Auburn in Adelanto. According to the caller, someone at the location had been shot.
Through the investigation, deputies learned the suspect, Michael Dorrough, and the adult male victim were involved in a verbal argument. At some point during the argument, Dorrough pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Michael Dorrough was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
