Wipe Out Graffiti and Clean Up Crime
In recent years, one of the most common urban problems threatening the vitality and beauty of cities is graffiti. It has a detrimental effect on the attractiveness of our community, the value of real estate and businesses' desire to remain in the community.
The City of Santa Clara is taking action to wipe out graffiti and clean up crime. The Code Enforcement Committee, Street Department and Police Department are working together to manage the City's Graffiti Watch program to keep neighborhoods clean and attractive. The program consists of graffiti removal, educational outreach, community involvement and police enforcement. This quality of life initiative is dedicated to revitalizing neighborhoods, increasing property values, decreasing criminal activity and eradicating blight.
