Robbery
Location: 100 Block of Buckingham Drive
A male suspect approached three victims standing outside on the 100 block of Buckingham Drive. He pointed a black handgun at the victim’s and demanded money and gold jewelry. The suspect remains at large.

NOTE: At approximately 4:30am, a power outage impacted residents on the north east side of the city. SCPD put out stop signs at Lafayette Street and Agnew Road to safely address cross traffic. The power was restored at approximately 6:00am.

Robbery
Location: 1500 Block of Vista Club Circle
A victim on the 1500 block of Vista Club Circle was awakened to two unidentified male suspects inside his apartment. Prior to fleeing the scene, the suspects stole multiple items. Officers canvassed the area without locating the suspects.

Follow up investigation led officers to the 3800 block of Underwood Street in San Jose. The suspects were arrested and transported to the County jail.

NOTE: Approximately 260 residences were affected by a power outage on the south west side of Santa Clara that occurred from roughly 6:20am-8:00am.

Disturbing the Peace
Location: 600 Block of Lafayette Street
Dispatch received a phone call regarding a loud party on the 600 block of Lafayette Street. Upon officer arrival, approximately 30 individuals could be seen inside and it is estimated there were 70 individuals outside the residence. Loud music and voices could be heard from one city block away. Minors were in possession of alcohol. Party hosts and guests were cooperative to police contact. The party was shut down.

Drugs
Location: Harrison Street and Lafayette Street
An officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a male suspect for not having a front license plate and suspended registration on his vehicle, near Lafayette Street and Harrison Street. Upon contact with the driver, the officer observed objective symptoms that the suspect was under the influence of a stimulant. The suspect was arrested. A search of his vehicle yielded marijuana, methamphetamine and a billy club. He was transported to the County jail.

Municipal Code Violation
Location: 800 Block of Pepper Tree Lane
An officer was dispatched to the 800 Block of Pepper Tree Lane on the report of a female suspect going door to door attempting to sell organic, gluten free pies. The suspect did not have a business license or soliciting permit in Santa Clara. As a result, she was cited for a municipal code violation and released at the scene.

Grand Theft
Location: 3700 Block of El Camino Real
An officer was dispatched to the 3700 block of El Camino Real on the report that a rental vehicle had been broken into. The individual victimized had cash, electronics, a passport and a coin collection taken by unknown suspect(s). No arrests have been made in connection to this crime.

An unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's residence on the 3000 block of Aspen Drive and stole several items. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Robbery
Location: 3600 Block of Pruneridge Avenue
A black male adult brandished a semiautomatic handgun at five men standing outside their apartment on the 3000 block of Pruneridge Avenue. The suspect demanded money and jewelry from the victims before fleeing on foot. The area was searched but the suspect was not located.

NOTE: Santa Clara University students moved into town over the weekend in preparation for the start of the 2014/15 school year. Officers responded to seventeen (17) incidents after midnight. Multiple students were cited for an open container of alcohol, underage drinking and drunk in public.
