The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is responding to an 8-inch water main break at 1344 Komo Mai Drive in Pearl City. The main break was reported at around 2:30 a.m. this morning.
All lanes on Komo Mai Drive between Hookupa Street and Hoolaulea Street are closed at this time and will be closed for the duration of the repair. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to take an alternate travel route. Work is expected to continue throughout the day.
Approximately 30 customers are without water at this time. A water wagon is en route and will be setup near the main break site to provide an alternate water source to affected customers.
An update will be provided when the situation changes.
