CVS Armed Robbery Suspect Caught on Surveillance Video

Columbia Police Investigators are releasing surveillance pictures of an armed robbery suspect in an effort to positively identify him.

The armed robbery occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the CVS store located at 3595 Harden Street Extension.

The suspect, described as a white male went into the store and pointed a handgun at employees and at least one customer. He is accused of making the victims get down on the floor.

The robber first demanded access to the pharmacy but that area was locked and closed for business. Then the suspect demanded over-the-counter pain medicine and money.

A worker gave him and undisclosed amount of money. Then, the robber left the store on foot. No one was hurt during the crime.

The robber was last seen wearing a dark shirt with blue jeans, a blue handkerchief around his neck, sunglasses, and a reddish ‘doo-rag’ on his head. He also had a black or dark brown mustache.
