INCIDENT: Marijuana Grows

Danielle Waterman 21 year old female from San Bernardino


SUMMARY: Residents of the Arrowhead Farms Community Neighborhood Watch recently complained to deputies from the Central Station about a strong marijuana odor coming from a residence in the 4000 block of Cottage Drive in San Bernardino. They reported a peculiar house with a large wooden fence surrounding the property with multiple cameras pointing out to the street.

Deputies from the Central Station immediately began an investigation. Deputies made contact with an occupant of the home, later identified as suspect Shannon Paris. Paris was detained and discovered to have narcotics for sale on him. Deputies asked him if he had any other type of narcotics and he said he had a couple of marijuana plants he was growing in the back yard without a permit. Deputies seized the residence and obtained search warrants for the illegal marijuana grows discovered at two houses.

Danielle Waterman, the neighbor of Paris was also arrested and booked for cultivating marijuana without a permit. Over 100 mature marijuana plants approximately 10 feet tall were recovered from both houses. Both subjects were arrested and booked without incident. Neighborhood watch programs are encouraged and are beneficial to the community.
