Woman Assaulted and Robbed
On September 15th, 2014 at 7:15 pm a female was pushed to the ground and robbed by a Hispanic male in the parking lot of Tennant Station Way. The female victim told the Morgan Hill Police she was putting groceries away in her vehicle, when she heard the suspect saying something behind her. She told the officers she turned around to see what he wanted and that is when he demanded her purse. After she told him “no’ the male suspect pushed her to the ground, reached into her vehicle and grabbed her purse. The victim described the male subject as a Hispanic adult approximately in his twenties. The male subject was approximately 506, 140-160 pounds, had dark short hair, side burns and was clean shaven. The male subject had a diamond earring in his right ear and was wearing blue jeans. A witness at the scene said he saw the suspect drive away in a bright blue Honda with custom black wheels with chrome on the outside.
The Morgan Hill Police are currently investigating all leads, reviewing surveillance video and talking with witnesses.
