Suspect: Black Male 20-25 yoa 6’03” 200 lbs
Dark Blue Hoodie and Grey Pants
On Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. Racine Police officers responded to an armed robbery at Elite Food Mart, 2703 Washington Ave. Responding officers were advised that the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled the area on foot southbound through the yards.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s. He was approximately 6’03” and about 200 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and grey pants. He was armed with a small handgun. No one was reported injured as a result of this incident and no suspects are in custody.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
