CITY OF ROSEMEAD TO COMMEMORATE 13TH ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11th AT CIVIC CENTER MEMORIAL
The City of Rosemead will commemorate the events of September 11, 2001 at its 6th annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2014, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This year’s ceremony, which will include flag raising and wreath laying ceremonies and a performance of Taps, will take place adjacent to Rosemead’s September 11th Memorial in the newly renovated Civic Center Plaza at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard. The ceremony will also feature the commemorative cars of Fueled by the Fallen, an organization providing aid to military and emergency personnel. The event is free and open to the public.
