Subject: Fatal Accident
Victim: 33 year old woman Racine, WI
On Monday September 8, 2014 at 11:35 a.m. officers responded to a 3 vehicle accident with multiple injuries in the 100 blk of Main St. The accident involved two passenger cars and a large box truck. Responding officers discovered a critically injured 33 year old Racine woman who was unresponsive inside one of the vehicles. A second woman in the same vehicle was located critically injured as well. Rescue transported both women to St. Mary’s Emergency room for treatment where the 33 year old woman was later pronounced deceased. The second woman remains in critical condition. A third party received minor injuries in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation and no further details will be released at this time. Traffic remains shut down in the area due to the investigation. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and are reminded not to drive around barricades that have been set up.
